and i hope this can be so for other friends too.. like my class pple.. and esp choir people..
people that have such a passion for singing and are nice are hard to come by.. :)

on to other topics.
YESTERDAY!
was a fun day.
it was our CT's bdae.. for the not-so-well-informed, CT is like, ur form teacher.
so we were trying to think of ways to spring a surprise celebration on him, when news came that our class was to attend chem lect in the audi with the S7s n S3s, where he was lecturing!
pleasant surprise. coz S6 got shifted to LT2 for that day, and there wouldn't be enough space.
so we got to go to audi! yayays. i was super happy la.
1: audi is nicer
2: i was bored of LTs
3: S7s give a different atmosphere from S6s
4: can see all e S7 n S3 people!
5: it's just a change la.
yeahh and i paid attention in the audi! the atmosphere was so conducive.. everybody quiet and doing work (or sleeping) so not much noise. not like S6s, whole day yakking away.
and i actually understood practically the whole lect! even though mr lee went kinda fast. yays! not bad. :) but think our class was abit noisy though. seeing we were the only S6 class there. haha.
then we finished 10min earlier, (see, S7s n S3s are so fast) and our class started belting out the bdae song! and at first the rest in the audi looked rather stunned, but in the end they joined in and the whole audi was clapping for mr lee! yay.
then our class went down with the bdae cake and stayed in the audi while the rest left to eat the bdae cake! yummy yummy. choc cake from bengawan solo. did i mention i LOVE chocolate cakes!?!? choc is my favourite flavour for cakes. totally.
and this choc cake was so nice coz it had a layer of nice choc outside! totally enjoyed it man. finger-licking yummy!
ok anyway, that was the highlight of ytd.
as for today.
CROSS-COUNTRY!!!!
arghs. extra 300m for gals lor. 3.5km!
came in 138th.. behind zhiyi who was 137th, and kayi was 136th! lihais. looks like all her runs paid off. *cheers*
really really tempted to start walking huh, esp the grassy part where it seemed to not end and it was as if i was never ever gonna reach the turn and the finish line.. so many u-turns lor!
but i didn't. haha. thanks to zhiyi. she ran with me throughout! yeah, zhiyi rocks! haha. :)
and can u believe it, my stomach can never withstand not being fed. awhile into the run, it actually started to growl!
i was quite horrified. barely into the run and my stomach was growling for food already! to think i thought i was full. *shudders*
so it continued to growl occasionally as i ran the 3.5km.. and finally towards the end i sprinted with my all, and thanks to shawn who cheered! not sure if kasster did, but i heard shawn! haha. motivated. yeahhs. got stitch tho. hate stitches. painful things. blah. haha.
and gulped down 2 full bottles of water.. decided to abstain from gassy drinks.

i shall write about the concert in detail, yes.
haha. urms. i mean the NTU concert. korean concert was qt nice!
anyway did i mention they're all soloists?! li hais.
that's y their volume is SO... LOUD.
and i love their phantom of the opera! its super nice. all the high notes reached super well.
anyway, they came on wed and all around the ages of 17, 18 like that. all the gals are sops! and they can sing interchangebly, like one song sing sop, the other sing alto.
and the guys are... SUPER GOOD. ratio of one to four and they can most definitely be heard! amazing!
ok anyway, NTU concert.. hmms.
haha. k shall start from the funny part.
actually that day was quite slack, coz choir workshop ended at 12 plus, then we went to coro to eat..
then youz, kayi n i went yuru's house to slack! (supposed to mug la.) coz we had like, 4 to 5 hours to burn till the concert at 8.. yeahs..
then anyway so we stopped at city hall mrt and walked thru raffles city.. and you see, the life of yours truly is always full of unusual surprises.
was walking with the gals, the guys were behind, and i teased kayi about going against her words coz she asked youz not to look at the stall but she herself went to look! then she started to swing her subway bag to try and hit me. so i was dodging, laughing, and somewhat walking backwards, when i
lost my balance,
slipped, and
FELL!!!
mamamia.
SO EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!
i was sooooooooooooooooooooooo................................... dunno what to say.
plus i was in my choir tee and college bottoms la!
and i fell right down on my behind, that sadly doesn't have much cushion. blahs.
so it hurt, abit i guess. but at least the pain disappeared after awhile.
the 'ego-repairing' took more time. wait, what ego.... -_-"
haha.
arghh.. imagine a JC student falling down, totally down, not even half down, in a posh shopping centre in town!!! good thing it was near the exit, not in the middle of the place, i would have totally.... died. hahas.
and the guys got a shock. actually i think everyone got a shock.
kayi was so apologetic about it somemore, but we couldn't stop laughing! it was quite funny i guess. haha. and the look on the guys' faces were.... rather priceless. haha.
man.
so after that we gals went on a laughing spree and shared embarrassing incidents like when someone fell when the elevator moved, thus looking like she was kowtowing to the person at the door, someone grabbing the another's earlobe in a desperate attempt to stay upright when the bus jerked, thus resulting in both catapulting to the front. haha. the last had all of us in stitches, youz esp! and her unique laugh came out when we were at the traffic light, and all too soon people were staring.. 'hurhurhurr' hahaa. and the guys were undoubtedly embarrassed.. and distanced themselves. i think. haha.
ok la those were the memorable bits of the concert...

yeahh gotta go sleep soon.... already 12.03am according to my comp clock. and i wanna go running tmr!! must train liaos. n next wk gotta run 2.4km.. 6 rounds around e tchs track.. boooooos.. i wonder how i got thru 5 yrs of that. nvm, this yr will be my last! YESH. so tired. and i haven't done any hw.. and i haven't prepared vdae presents yet!!!! arghs.
but anw, today was a fun day!
met at 10am at e bus stop near caltex station (for ppl coming on e hc side, its the ulu bus stop w overhead bridge n got condo construction going on.. v rundown one)-that was zy's description of the bus stop.. so once we passed hc i was franctically looking out for contruction sites with overhead bridges coz i had absolutely NO idea where it was! anw i reached 15min early.. and the guys arrived earlier than the gals! our 'pretty econs rep' was late hahas.
good thing i wore jeans... coz it was a 1.9km walk to our tcher's house! mamamia.
no joke sia.
so we were like, bkt tinggi: 900m to go! then, swiss view: only 400m more to go!! mymy. nv had such a long walk to a person's house before... utterly tired out by the time we reached there haha. BUT her hse was really nice. 4 storeys! beeeg and nice.. and her daughter's SOOO cute!! kawaii neh.... hahahhaha.
so we spent our time after eating playing...
some were playing mahjong (that i have no interest in playing or learning though the tiles are really qt cute) and some were talking.. so zhihua, xiefy, shawn n i went to go play cards!! yays. though my card playing ain't that good.
played 1 round of 'taiti' then went on to playing bridge. acc bridge is qt fun la i guess. all the partner stuff. though i always nv knew who my pardner was unless i so happened to be the one the bidder called out. hahaha. think the others were qt amused at my blurness. but to their credit, they were very nice with explaining stuff to me! :D
and i turned out to be relatively good at it. can do la. hhahaa. yeahh so bridge is quite fun. lippy taught us german bridge during chalet last yr.. think i kinda forgot.. oops. -_^ *that's face for 1 eyebrow raised with a farnie look* hahahaha.
yeahh then supposed to call dot back to talk but her phone is engaged.. and its kinda late dun u think??

so i was a little late. guilty as charged... :(
anyways, today no chem lessons! they got cancelled yays. so i finished at 2 while e non-econs ppl finished at 1120.. *faints* so early la. betcha somebody got his hw done.

coz u had to pass a key tied to raffia down ur tee n into ur shorts and out n to the next person! so gross! plus our shorts aint exactly... roomy. to put things nicely. haha. so in the end they made it gals only thru the tee, guys tee n shorts! or pants. hahaa. n we won this time!! yays. last game: orange stocking! this game was most interesting. looks gross though. ava came to film us, can u believe it!?! u put an orange in 1 leg of the stocking, hang the stocking over ur neck and use that leg with the orange to hit an orange on the ground to the finishin line! this is seriously physics. u need to get the thing oscillating and whack the orange, and keep whacking it across. trust me, it's not easy!!!!! and its embarrassing hahaha. found out that karl n kenneth are super pro at this game! double k haha. charm was pro too. and the losers had to eat the oranges but at ended up all of us were eating coz the oranges were nice. :P then back to the avt... and home! for some. some of us went out to orchard hotel to eat subway.. what it is about subway n choir ppl.. i do not know. aha. lemme see who went. ching youz kayi me songs fel charm lippy jonny kane shaoning sumin linxin karen sherlene shawna.. i hope i din leave any J1s out :P so while waiting for out turn to buy the j2s started singing songs.. first rudolph, then miao jia then yoru.. can u believe it?! yoru in the public! haha. went up to the high G part towards the end then we got shushed. haha. coz apparently they couldnt' hear the orders at the counter. yeahh going out with choir ppl is fun! bumming around.. singing songs. :) as fel says, happiness. haha. yeah took a nap just now.. after all the work... was so tired.. all the running and shouting and screaming.. hahaha. so now gotta do econs essay test preparation.... arghs. can't wait for CNY!!!!and i dun exactly have new clothes. coz everytime my parents wanna go out, i'm tired or sth comes up. blahs. CNYCNYCNY!!!! excited. guess i must try to finish my work before new yr. :P
this really is a roller coaster week. anyway, today was like FUN!!!!
had choir orientation today.
n i was group leader of grp 1!! *cheers* haha.
so my grp comprised of yuru, karl, jonny, kenneth, shuping and qiqian.
actually had 9 pple.. then kok hong's grp had like 5/6 ppl so 2 of ours went over, left the 7 of us!
then qiqian had to go off for sth, so left 6 of us!
so little lor.. then we nearly died at captain's ball. haha.
we used bananas, towel and volleyball to play!
so 3 rounds of 20mins each.
hoh seh.
i was like, so tired lors.. how come my running stamina is good but my playing stamina is not!??!!? so weird.
anyway, 1st game:
banana ball! against kane's grp. hahaha.
to think we were naive enough to think that a banana wouldn't split and splatter all over us.
IT DID!!!
after a few throws, it started splitting, then the insides started coming out as we threw it along!
and it was so GROSS coz it was slippery with banana mush and everytime someone couldn't catch, it fell on the grass and got grass all over it!!! mamamia.
so i had like, grass and banana mush all over my hands. fun i guess but, definitely gross!!! haha.
got abit on my tshirt too. remind me, next time we have such stuff no way am i wearing choir tee anymore. PE attire mans! think we had the most fun with the banana round tho. laughed my head off at all the disgusted looks, esp when karl (our goalkeeper) first caught e mushed up grass stained banana... eeks! hahahhaa. n coz our field is so dry, when u picked up the banana to throw, grass flew along as well so it was like, grass shower plus banana mush flying.
then round 2 was volleyball, much better coz it was CLEAN.. but we got CREAMED by wang's grp!!! so pro la, they were. scary sia. plus it was like 5 against 7!! outnumbered. haha.
then round 3 was against kok hong's grp and we decided to form alliance and draw! coz we both lost twice liao haha. and having tall guys in ur grp is a super good advantage. karl played this time, and he was so pro at catching! yuru was super good too. jonny at defending! haha. and of course, kenneth n shuping were super impt too. if not we wud have died! hahas.
then we had elope, key game and orange stocking game at inner plaza.
elope is super fun!! its a super fun game to play la.
all stand alternate guy-gal holding hands, a couple on the outside 'cuts' a couple in the circle, and they run in opp directions to meet at a point outside the circle. scissors paper stone; the grp tt wins can cut across the circle to get back to the vacant slot, the one that loses must run the whole round to get back.
good thing i only got cut once! and it was super funny coz supposed to run with jonny, but kenneth ran along as well! so it was like, us 3 and i nearly split my sides laughing. in the end jonny went back. haha. good thing we won the scissors paper stone and we got back!

end up i took out today's SV paper PLUS the ezlink card and just tapped them blindly,
heard the 'teed' sound and hurriedly got off the bus.
so embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!

then again, i guess its people like me who brighten up others' days.
just imagine them going home and telling their families about this clumsy gal who missed her stop, got an awful shock and then made such a mess of herself tyring to get down.
